Great local landmark and park. Awesome family activities outdoors. Low priced and very affordable features. Clean and family friendly.

First and foremost it's almost a hidden gem. I didn't know about it till a guy from work said something about it. I got the itch to go find it for myself and explore and boy am I glad I did. It's off the beaten path a bit but worth it. Sitting on an old town that was once one of Alabama's first Territory this park is really nice. From the water to the hike on the trail, that hike is very nice leading on to the cliffs. We stopped and sat down on them which gave way to some of the best views in the park. The water is a beautiful color. There is even a little beach to hangout in the sun and go swimming. You can camp here, tent and RV. There is fishing if you're into that. It's easy to spend all day and even a night or two here because it's absolutely beautiful. Glad I took the chance and got to explore it. Definitely one you need to see for yourself. The Pics can only say too much.

Great for being out doors, hiking, camping, atving, swimming and tree hugging! This is my happy place so much history and beauty!
